Sabrina Leatherwood Named Old Dominion International Business Student of the Year.

Growing up on the outskirts of Washington, D.C., Sabrina Leatherwood paid attention to the hustle and bustle of what was going on around her and was intrigued. She also watched how her mom, Jocelyn Leatherwood, excelled working in a male dominated industry and wanted to be like her. All of this led to Leatherwood being named the Old Dominion University 2021-22 International Business Student of the Year.
A junior goalie on the lacrosse team, Leatherwood was thrilled to bestowed the honor.
“It feels really good to know my hard work paid off and everything I put into school and the opportunities I have are helping me earn an award like this,” Leatherwood said. “To make my family proud makes me feel really good.”
