Opinion: Congress should support Hampton Roads’ maritime economy
In many ways, these are examples of why most Americans, broad spectrum business leaders, and a growing bipartisan chorus of congressional leaders oppose this anti-innovation legislation that would shatter platforms that so many Americans now rely on to stay safe, connected and even thrive — especially in innovation engines such as Hampton Roads. It should also be stated that they are now joined in their opposition by the U.S. Hispanic Business Council, the Small Business and Entrepreneurship Council, the Small Business Roundtable, the Coalition of Small Business Tech Groups and Community Leaders, and the Connected Commerce Council to name a few.
