Michigan Economic Development Corp. taps longtime executive Jen Nelson to return as chief operating officer
The Michigan Economic Development Corp. has tapped a longtime executive of the agency to return as its chief operating officer.
Jen Nelson will head up organizational operations, strategy and performance initiatives at the economic development agency after leaving her role as vice president of public policy and economic development at Business Leaders for Michigan, the MEDC announced Monday.
In her new role, Nelson will also head up outreach initiatives with the MEDC executive committee, Michigan Strategic Fund, Collaborative Development Council, the Michigan Economic Development Foundation and Business Leaders for Michigan, according to a news release.
