Indoor farming company expands leadership team | 2021-09-17
NEW YORK — Shannon Corbett has been named senior vice president of sales at vertical farming company Bowery Farming.
Ms. Corbett joins the company from Nature’s Path Foods, where she was vice president of US sales. Before that she was director of sales at Kellogg Co., where she managed a cross functional team across ready-to-eat breakfast, hot cereal, shelf stable beverages and health and wellness snacks. She also was a sales director at Mars Chocolate.
The addition of a new sales leader comes on the heels of Bowery Farming’s $300 million Series C fundraise in May. She is the latest in a series of strategic hires for the company, which also includes Injong Rhee, chief technology officer; Colin Nelson, chief supply chain officer; and Katie Seawell, chief marketing officer.
