Employee shoots, kills man stealing from local business
A Grand Prairie man was arrested Wednesday in connection with the slaying of a man accused of stealing from his business, police said.
Price Mackey faces a murder charge in the fatal shooting of 22-year-old Dorian Medina.
Grand Prairie police were called around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday to the 700 block of West Jefferson Street, near Southwest Sixth Street, and found Medina dead in his car from a gunshot wound.
According to police, Medina had just stolen from the business and was driving away when Mackey, an employee, shot him.
Mackey is being held at the Grand Prairie Detention Center. His bond is set at $100,000.
