Russian Investment Major Interros Joins Consortium of the Atomyze Blockchain Platform Backers

SAINT PETERSBURG, Russia, June 3, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Interros, a private investment group founded by Vladimir Potanin over 30 years ago, has become a member of the consortium of investors for the Atomyze blockchain platform, said Sergei Batekhin, CEO and Head of the Management Board of Interros, during a session on digital financial assets at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.Atomyze is a global digital marketplace that will tokenize physical assets, products and services and make them available to a wide customer base, from large industrial players to professional and individual investors. Prior Covid-19 infection reduces infection risk for 10 months: Study

LONDON (REUTERS) – Previous Covid-19 infection substantially reduces the risk of a new infection for up to 10 months afterwards, according to a study of care home residents and staff by University College London (UCL) scientists. The study, published in The Lancet Healthy Longevity on Thursday (June 3), found that care home residents who had been previously infected with Covid-19 were approximately 85% less likely to be infected between October and February than those who had not been infected. For staff, those with a past infection were around 60% less likely to become infected again. “It’s really good news that natural infection protects against reinfection in this time period. The risk of being infected twice appears to be very low,” the study’s lead researcher, Maria Krutikov of the UCL Institute of Health Informatics, said. “The fact that prior Covid-19 infection gives a high level of protection to care home residents is also reassuring, given past concerns that these individuals might have less robust immune responses associated with increasing age.” The study involved 682 care home residents, with a median age of 86, and 1,429 staff in care homes. Novartis reports clinically relevant improvement in median overall survival data in final analysis of pivotal NETTER-1 study with targeted radioligand therapy Lutathera

EAST HANOVER, N.J., June 3, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Novartis today reported the final analysis from the NETTER-1 phase III study comparing treatment using Lutathera® (INN: lutetium (177Lu) oxodotreotide / USAN: lutetium Lu 177 dotatate) plus 30 mg octreotide LAR to 60 mg of octreotide LAR in patients with midgut neuroendocrine tumors. The previously reported primary analysis of the trial demonstrated a statistically significant improvement in progression free survival (PFS) (HR: 0.18*, p 0.0001)3. In the final analysis of overall survival, a secondary objective of the trial, treatment with Lutathera resulted in a clinically relevant prolongation in median overall survival of 11.7 months [48.0 months (95%CI: 37.4-55.2) compared to the control arm (36.3 months (95%CI: 25.9-51.7)]1. While this analysis did not reach statistical significance (Hazard ratio for OS (HR): 0.84 with 95% CI: (0.60, 1.17) (p=0.30, two-sided))1, the analyses of overall survival may have been impacted by multiple factors, including the crossover of patients from the control arm receiving subsequent radioligand therapy (36% of patients) as well as heterogenous subsequent anti-cancer treatments in both study arms1. No new safety signals emerged in the final analysis1. More than 14% of renters are still behind as national eviction ban comes to an end

The CBPP also found that more than 26% of Americans continue to have trouble meeting their usual expenses, and around 9% couldn’t afford enough food.With so many renters still behind, the number of evictions could rise steeply when the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s eviction moratorium lifts on June 30.
