Shrenkel tapped to lead Nassau IDA
The Nassau County Industrial Development Agency has hired Sheldon “Shelly” Shrenkel as its new CEO and executive director.
Shrenkel succeeds Harry Coghlan in the Nassau IDA leadership post.
With more than 40 years of experience in the financial services industry, Shrenkel had been the owner of Jacath & Shrenkel Associates since 1996, where he was an independent consultant working with small to mid-sized companies. Prior to that, Shrenkel held several positions throughout a 21-year career with Chrysler Capital Corporation, according to an IDA ststement.
