Traverse City Marketing Students Make Career Strides In Business Class
Marketing Students at Traverse City Central High School are getting a head start on their careers.
Local businesses teamed up with the students to help them start their business from the ground up. Their business is called, “Twin Bay Coffee and Cocoa
“I tell my students, we all need to learn to love the product because this is what we’re selling,” said Mrs. Harvey, a teacher at Traverse City Central High. “They all have. They’ve jumped on board and they’ve done a great job.”
Every year, students in Mrs. Harvey’s “How to Start A Business Class have an opportunity to do just that.
”This class allows the students to learn how to talk to adults via text, email, in-person… it gives them confidence on learning how to sell something and just have that conversation with someone they might not be comfortable doing otherwise,” said Harvey.
