Business Beat: Kleen Sweep in Kilgore expanding | Business Beat
Kilgore’s Kleen Sweep is making changes to position the parking lot litter control business for the future.
Owners Angie and Bob Browning purchased the business from her mother, Joan Boswell, in August. Joan Boswell and her husband, Tommy, now deceased, started the business 43 years ago, Angie Browning said.
The Brownings also purchased the property from which the business operates, on 10 acres in Kilgore. Within a couple of weeks, they will have completed construction on a new barn to house the trucks for the first time “for safety and maintenance,” they said. The 2,400-square-foot facility also will have a space for their offices.
